Identify Any Fish terms

Identify Any Fish provides AI fish identification and general reference information. It may misidentify fish or return incomplete or outdated information. An identification is an estimate, not a guarantee. Do not use the app to decide whether a fish is safe to touch, eat or keep. Independently verify species, safe handling and current fishing regulations for your exact location, method and date. The private map is a catch journal, not a navigation or emergency tool.

Every new identification attempt requires a newly completed rewarded ad, including the first scan, uncertain results and retries after failures. Completing an ad does not guarantee an identification. There are no free scan allowances or replacement credits, subscriptions or purchases. Viewing saved catches needs no ad. Worldwide reference browsing may show a banner. Service availability and usage limits apply.

Before AI identification you must explicitly allow the selected photo and context to be sent to OpenAI through Cloudflare. Coordinates are optional and require a separate choice for the scan. You can withdraw permission for future submissions in Settings. Optional location does not guarantee an improvement. Confirm that a location is where the fish was caught, especially with older photos.

Only submit or share content you have the right to use. You retain your rights to your own photos and notes. Do not submit illegal, abusive or deliberately misleading content, attempt to bypass reward or security controls, or disrupt the service. Catch data stays on your device except for processing and sharing you request; keep backups of anything important.

Reference text, photographs, map data, fonts and software may belong to their respective creators and remain subject to their displayed licences. Attribution and ShareAlike permissions for individual reference materials do not grant ownership of those materials or imply endorsement. Reference sources may change or contain errors.

We may update the app, reference catalogue, model or service configuration. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not exclude non-waivable consumer rights.
