Information handled by the app

Dog Age Calculator estimates a dog's age in human years using the age, breed and adult size you choose. Calculations run on your device. You do not need an account, and we do not receive your calculator inputs or results. This version does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, in-app purchases, an automated crash-reporting SDK, or an app-operated data collection server. We do not collect or share personal data through the calculator.

Local processing and retention

Your selected age, breed, adult size and result are kept in memory while the app is running. The app does not deliberately save them as preferences, a profile or a calculation history. They are not uploaded to Vasser Studios or an external calculation service. There is no server-side calculator record for us to access or delete.

You can change your inputs at any time. Restarting the app resets the calculator to its defaults. Your operating system controls app removal, temporary files, diagnostics, device backups and app-switcher previews. We do not operate a cloud backup service or receive device backups.

Permissions and external links

The calculator works offline. Its breed list, font and dog illustrations are bundled with the app. It does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or health records.

If you choose to open the online privacy policy, the app asks your device to open the public policy URL in a browser. Your selected age, breed, size and result are not included in that URL. Your browser and the website host handle that visit under their own privacy policies. Viewing the bundled policy inside the app does not require a website visit.

App stores and operating systems

Google Play, the Apple App Store and your operating system may independently process installation, diagnostic, backup or other device information according to their settings and privacy policies. Those services are separate from the app's offline calculations. See the Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy for their services.

Support correspondence

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer your enquiry and provide support. Microsoft processes correspondence to deliver and store our support email. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.

We do not sell support correspondence or use it for advertising. We retain it only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and meet applicable legal obligations. We may disclose correspondence where required by law. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent us; we may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Children's privacy

This version does not collect personal data through the calculator from users of any age. It does not offer accounts, chat, advertising or social sharing.

Security

Your device's access controls help protect information displayed by the app. We take reasonable steps to protect support correspondence, but no method of storage or transmission guarantees absolute security.

This policy website

This copy is published on the Vasser Studios portfolio, hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection and security information to deliver and protect the website. This website uses Google Analytics with regional consent controls. It has no advertising scripts. You can change your analytics choice using Cookie preferences. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's features or our information practices change. The effective date identifies this version of the policy.
