Information and offline playback

Sleep Sounds: Deep Rest plays audio bundled with the app. It does not require an account, stream audio, or send your listening activity to us. This version does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, in-app purchases, or an app-operated data collection server. We do not collect or share personal data through the app.

Preferences stored on your device

The app stores your selected sounds, volume levels, favourites, saved soundscapes, and timer settings locally so they can be restored when you return. These settings are used only to provide the app's features. Your operating system's backup or device-transfer features may include app settings, depending on your device configuration; those services are controlled by your operating system provider. We do not operate a cloud backup service or receive these backups.

Audio and background playback

The app uses audio playback and background media services to keep sounds playing while the screen is off and to provide system media controls. Android wake-lock and foreground media-playback permissions support this behaviour. The app does not record audio or access your microphone, contacts, photos, or location. Your current soundscape title and playback controls may appear on your lock screen or connected media devices according to your device settings.

Retention and deletion

Local preferences remain until you change them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app and remove its associated data. Android users can clear app storage in their device's app settings. On iOS, offloading an app can retain its data. Your operating system may retain backups under its own settings. We have no server-side user profile or listening history to delete.

Children

This version does not collect personal data from users of any age. It does not offer accounts, chat, advertising, or social sharing.

App stores and support messages

Google Play, the Apple App Store, and your operating system may process installation, purchase, diagnostic, or backup information under their own privacy policies. If you choose to contact us, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you send and use them to respond and resolve your request. Microsoft processes correspondence to deliver and store our support email. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information. We do not sell support correspondence or use it for advertising. It is retained only as needed to resolve the inquiry or meet applicable obligations; you can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain or disclose correspondence where required by law.

Security

Your device's access controls help protect locally stored settings. We take reasonable steps to protect support correspondence, but no method of storage or transmission guarantees absolute security.

This copy is published on the Vasser Studios portfolio, hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection and security information to deliver and protect the website. This website uses Google Analytics with regional consent controls. It has no advertising scripts. You can change your analytics choice using Cookie preferences.
