Tower Trouble

Effective 31 October 2026

About Tower Trouble

Tower Trouble is an Android and iPhone physics game provided by Vasser Studios. This policy covers the game and its optional Cloudflare leaderboard. For questions or requests, use our contact form or visit Tower Trouble support.

Information stored on your device

The game stores your guest nickname, selected country, settings, records, campaign progress, saved tower, hidden-player list and pending score uploads locally. A country is suggested from your device's language/region settings; you can choose a different country or no flag. We do not use GPS, SIM information or your app-store billing region. There is no recovery account or automatic cloud backup of progress.

Optional online features

When you use online features that need an identity, the game creates a random private guest credential in platform secure storage. Cloudflare D1 stores only its cryptographic hash and a separate public guest ID. Public leaderboard browsing alone does not register a guest. Profile updates, eligible Endless runs and player reports may create or use the online guest.

Your submitted nickname, selected country and best eligible Endless floor count appear publicly with your rank and guest ID. Country is self-selected and is not verified residency. The game sends run tickets, seeds, ruleset, action timing, floor count and submission information to check score consistency. It does not upload a complete device backup, contacts, photos, precise location or advertising identifier.

Reports and hidden players

A report stores the reporter and reported guest IDs, a predefined reason and submission time. Vasser Studios reviews reports and may hide entries or block abusive guests. Reports are not public. Your hidden-player list stays on your device and does not alter other players' rankings.

Sharing and links

Sharing happens only when you choose it. A branded image and message include the selected score/achievement, nickname, optional country and game download link. Your chosen sharing service handles that content under its own policies. Share images may temporarily remain in the app's cache until cleared by the app or operating system. Opening support, privacy or download links uses your browser. The Vasser Studios website has its own website privacy and analytics notice; visiting it does not upload your local game progress.

Service providers and security

Cloudflare Workers, D1 and Pages provide the online service and website. Cloudflare processes network and security information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect them. The app database does not store plaintext IP addresses; rate limiting uses connection information. Processing can take place outside your country. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Transport uses HTTPS and guest credentials protect updates/deletion. Basic validation and rate limits reduce abuse but cannot prove every physics outcome or prevent all cheating. This release does not use Play Integrity or Apple App Attest. No security measure guarantees complete protection.

No ads or purchases in this release

The launch version contains no advertising, in-app purchases, paid currency or advertising tracking SDK. The game does not include an app analytics or crash-reporting service. Device operating systems, app stores and hosting providers may separately process diagnostics under their own settings and policies.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains until reset, cleared or uninstalled. A secure-storage item may survive reinstall on iOS; the game removes its old remote guest before replacing that credential. Leaderboard scores remain until deletion or moderation. Run tickets and action evidence expire after seven days. Reports expire after 30 days; scheduled cleanup removes expired records. Connection/security information is governed by provider retention policies.

Settings → Delete All Data removes your local profile/progress and associated remote guest, score, runs and reports. Remote deletion must succeed before the game discards its only credential. If offline, reconnect and retry. For a request without the app, follow Tower Trouble data deletion. We may need to verify ownership; lost anonymous credentials can limit our ability to identify a record. No recovery of deleted progress is offered.

Your choices

You can play ordinary games offline, change your nickname/country, choose no country flag, hide players, control sound/vibration/motion, choose whether to share and delete all game data. For access, correction or deletion questions, contact our contact form. Please do not use a real name or put personal contact details in a public nickname.

Children and public profiles

We do not ask for a date of birth. Public nicknames and country flags can be seen by others; parents and guardians should help children choose a non-identifying nickname and appropriate online/sharing choices. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information that should be removed.

Changes

This notice will be updated when game features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies this version.
